Alicante

Gestalihome sells apartments and villas in Alicante. The capital of the Province, the city of Alicante is practically in the center of it, but on the coast, in the Bay formed between Cabo de las Huertas and Cabo de Santa Pola.

Since 1957, the more than six and a half million red, black and cream tesserae of the Explanada form the most emblematic image of Alicante. This walk runs parallel to its seafront and is the busiest area of the city, with ice cream parlors open almost all year round and concerts by the Municipal Band.

At one end is Playa del Postiguet and at the other is Parque de Canalejas, and next to it, the Fish Market, which has become the best exhibition hall in Alicante.
The other element that defines Alicante is its castle, called Santa Bárbara, very well preserved and the site of multiple social and cultural events.

Going down the streets Toledo or San Roque we arrive at the Plaza de Santa María where we have the Church of the same name.

From the Plaza del Carmen you can go up, through San Rafael Street, to the Santa Cruz neighborhood full of brightly colored houses and potted geraniums.

These streets are full of bars and cafes that make them, at night, the great leisure area of Alicante, together with the new premises of the commercial area of the Port.

Alicante is the great city of services and commerce for the entire province, highlighting the surroundings of Avda. De Maisonnave, all the streets adjacent to the Central Market of Avda. Alfonso el Sabio, in addition to the historic center of streets such as Castaños, Mayor, San Francisco, Gerona, etc.

Alicante has two very beautiful beaches, Postiguet located in the heart of the city, and San Juan, located further north.
