The Process of Buying New Properties on the Costa Blanca

 

Once you have chosen the property you are interested in, you sign a reservation agreement. At this stage, an initial payment, varying between 3,000 and 10,000 euros approximately, depending on the value of the property and the developer, is required. This payment guarantees the reservation of the property and marks the beginning of the purchase process.

 

Regarding payments, there are two main options: off-plan properties or turnkey properties.

 

For turnkey properties, within 30 days of the reservation, payment schedules are established to progressively complete between 40% and 60% of the total value. Spanish legislation requires a bank guarantee for each payment, ensuring that your funds are protected during construction.

 

Once the property is ready for delivery, or in the case of a turnkey property, a notarial deed of sale is signed. This deed, drafted in Spanish, formalizes the transfer of ownership.
