Guardamar castle is located on a rocky hill next to the town of the same name, in the Vega Baja del Segura region. Of Arab origin, it is an elongated enclosure divided into two sections. The upper part constitutes the castle itself, with a polygonal plan, dating from the first half of the 12th century and of which very few remains remain. The lower part is larger and is surrounded by a Gothic wall that underwent important modifications in the 16th century. The most important elements are some sections of its solid walls, as well as the bases of some towers and auxiliary constructions. The area of greatest archaeological value is the so-called Baluarte de la Pólvora.
The Reina Sofía Park is part of the pine forest, being within the urban area, with ponds of aquatic fauna and large play areas for children, all this under the shade of the centennial pine trees populated with squirrels, one of the symbols of this park . It is the favorite meeting point for families with children. There are several petanque courts that are very popular with our more mature residents.

The Alfonso XIII Park is a forest area with 800 hectares of extension on the shores of the Mediterranean. Originally, it was a set of mobile sand dunes that were fixed by planting various plant species such as pines, palms, cypresses and eucalyptus from a repopulation project at the end of the 19th century, directed by the forestry engineer D Francisco Mira y Botella.
Over four decades, more than 600,000 trees were planted. Thus, a landscape environment of extraordinary ecological, cultural and tourist attraction was created.

The Parc de les Nyores de Guardamar del Segura is a protected natural area, classified as an urban park, located in the southern part of the municipality, 200 meters from the sea. It occupies an area of 4 hectares of soil of dune origin.

Among its singularities is a pleasant perimeter fence with low walls of organic shapes, with a predominance of soft curves, in keeping with the dune landscape. It is clad in natural stone and tiles laid with the trencadís or broken tile technique in colors according to the landscape.
